The Season Of Biking Has Begun
In the past two weeks I decided it was simply time to start riding again. After a winter of slothyness, I realized that I wasn't going to get skinny by thinking about it and not doing much. So I fixed my Peugot, added a rack, and decided it was time to start riding.
I've gone about 150 miles in the past two weeks, clocking at least 5 days of biking to/from work plus numerous trips on the weekend while doing errands. The amazing thing to me is that I can go so much faster on the Peugot than I could on other bikes and I've become addicted to the speed.
I've ridden in the rain, in a windstorm (today) and in the most beautiful weather imaginable. My legs have changed immediately, and the weight has slowly started to come off. I can feel my stomach slowly starting to tone, and with a bit more time, I think I might be something resembling a normal weight.
